Apologies in advance if this is an obvious answer but this question has just come to me.
Are Japanese Waterstones afflicted by the cold?
With the Temps we are currently experiencing in Great Britain I am slightly concerned that should I soak my waterstones to use them the cold might freeze the water particles within the stones casuing them to split?
I would be most upset if i were to break them as they are an excellent tool.(I was always cynical as to their greatness before buying sheps set)
