    Talking Cairngorms

    Heading up ti the gorms tonite , camp at the linn o' dee , for an early start tommorow ... should be good , anybody up fer it

    i need to drive between Edingborough and Inverness next week, what is the A9 like ?

    A9 is OK. When walking in Cairngorms, look out for snow build up on lee slopes (generally SE at the moment, I think): freeze/thaw cycle has led to v unstable snowpack.
