    Default Container handle help

    Got a set of stainless steel containers to turn into billies. My qustion is how do you guyes attach bail arms to them?

    I drill two holes just under the lid and then use a wire coat hanger for the bail arm.

    I use brake/gear cables from halfords. Punch 2 holes in billy pass wire through and secure with electricians 'choc blocks' connector - a la wayland

    I asked exactly the same question myself a couple of weeks ago. If you look on Page 2 of the 'DIY and Traditional Crafts' forum you will see my thread called 'Billy Bail Arm'. I got some really good responses and ideas for doing just the same thing as you want to do, so have a look on that one as well.
