Pictures in threads

I'm missing out on a lot of the pics posted, they are just not loading on my machine, anyone else having this? I know they are there as other posters comment on them. For example, the thread about the leather flasks in DIY - no pick just a blank space in the post. Other threads show pictures, it's not all of them and that's what has me so confused?

I'm on a laptop running XP and connecting through Vodaphone mobile broadband if that makes a difference

I haven't thought of that, I'll keep an eye out. There seem to be quite a few though.

Are you looking at them at work?

I can't see most of the pictures if I use my work PC as the firewall blocks the links - the pictures are not embedded, they are linked to other websites. Sometimes firewall will not allow these links to open.

Alternatively, if you're at home, may be your firewall or browser security settings.
