Whittled a wooden knife for practicing safe knife use, at the mids meet, so that she knows where the sharp edge is and the direction of cuts. Going to get her chopping bananas and slices of already quartered apple up, and carving soap (Decorums idea) into shapes.
Its Hazel, and ive fire hardened the edge, and will probablly round off the point.
We've already been practicing for around 9 months with sticks, flatenned off a little after Spamel suggested it at the last moot.
She likes to copy me when carving on the back yard. Next step a real knife, i'll probablly make that too.
