    Default Choosing a kukri

Just thinking about getting a kukri, when on this site http://www.thekhukurihouse.com/ and was blown away by how many choices there are, how do you choose?

What I would be using it for is as an alternative to a machete or parang, any suggestions??
    cheers

Wilderbeast - if you are in Rutland you must know Melton - come over you can have my old one, it has had some use and needs a clean and a sharpen but it is an original from a Ghurka

stunning offer mate, really generous but cannot except unfortunately as 1) not in rutland until school starts, i'm at a boarding school there 2) Wont be able to get out of school to collect it 3) even if I could, keeping a kukri at school, probably not the best Idea!

but once again the generosity of BCUK members astounds me, rep for you

I bought both of these from Kukrihouse online. I am VERY happy with them. VERY.
