will this system sharpen a flat grind?
Success is not measured by what you have, but by what you can do without.

The Sharpmaker is fixed to either 30 degrees inclusive or 40 degrees, I used to use it for all my sharpening, now I use it for very quick and clean touch ups.

The Edge Pro on the other hand will sharpen to any angle you want. The instruction video demos the Edge Pro Proffessional, but works just as well for the Edge Pro Apex (cheeper version). I now sharpen and/or re-profile on the Apex as it's so quick.

, well the first thing I did with the Edge Pro Apex was to go back and repair all the old sharpening mistakes from my freehand sharpening days :-D
