Default Merry Christmas one and all!

A very happy christmas to all my friends in this wonderful community - the ones I have already met and the ones I have yet to meet!

May Santa bring you all you want, and may 2009 be the success you deserve.

Like wise John, I've found some really great people on here who go out of their way to give advice or help, not too mention the few who've generously help me out with bits.

I'd like to take this time to Thank everyone for making this site into the virtual community that it is.

A Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year to you all.

I really do feel sorry for you. I once complained in a certain large department store because they were playing Christmas carols in November. It wasn't just that it was November, it was that the tape sounded like some proud parent's recording of their infant school's first ever choir rendition of 'The Carol of the Drum' which I absolutely hate with a passion. I wasn't the only person complaining either, about five of us stormed the customer service desk.

    Keep Christmas at Christmas!

I work on the principal of getting all my Xmas shopping done before the crowds of last minute sheep decend on the shops (all bought and paid for already), getting the few cards I send out early, so I have no last minute panics and it lets people know I am still thinking of them and that I am not yet another card in the pile they get in a rush. And I get all my goodies in well before the shops run out of the bits I want.
That way I can have an almost stress free Xmas
I do pity those who work in retail though - it must realy sour the Xmas spirit for you!
    As to "Bah - Humbug"
I played the part of Scrooge on stage a couple of years ago, and, if you recall, he ended up being the most generous of souls and "If any man alive knew how to keep Christmas well - it was he!"

Well I've bought mum some DVDs on t'Internet, and dad has his traditional prezzie of dark chocolate toberones (it's what he asks for), part of Spike's prezzie is at work and I have no idea what else to get him. I don't have anyone else to buy for and, to be honest, I'm quite glad about that this year. There seems to be so much month left at the end of the money these days.

    Well spotted John!

Interesting to note that St Nicolas is the patron saint of pawn brokers. How apt with the modern commercial Christmess.
