    Default A question....

...That will probably only be able to be answered by somebody who attended Rays' recent tour. I'm sure he mentioned something about dead aboriginals and their photos at the start, now I see in his latest book that there is also a warning that the book may contain pictures of deceased aboriginls.

I can't remember the reason, can anyone shed any light?

    It is a means,
although I can't express it in the way in which it was conveyed.... of offering the deepest respect to those who have passed on. Our culture pays only passing whimsical attention to our direct ancestors - in other cultures, being suddenly confronted with an image of your not-too-distant relatives, would be considered deeply disturbing, hence the reason for the warning.
