    Default Cubs Tribal camp

Having read this Beaver Scout thread http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13910 I am looking for any suggestions for a themed Cub camp that we are doing.

We've called it a tribal camp and will loosley base it around this theme. we are going to make some Dutch arrows (String launched finned bamboo), get them all to make a shields and place them around the camp, do some cooking with them and hopefully use some hedgerow stuff....

Any little crafty things would be good-Maybe some easy savoury cakes that we could stick, say, chopped nettle tops in, something for our soon to arrive 10" Dutch Oven...even if anyone has some web links to indigionous shield designs it would be useful.

    Thanks in advance...

The camp sounds like 'Swallows and Amazons' meets 'Lord of the Flies', so how about Fly Pie?

    Is this sausage dead yet?

Actually, that looks quite good (and simple). Oh, and anything with a name that will get the odd 'Ugghh' out of them is OK by me!

Thanks Alf, that looks about spot on. The thread title seems such an obvious one to have searched for now it's been pointed out!
