Dan
i got one from someone on here, you get them for cheaper on ebay etc ,good cond,
tbh i wasnt too sure if id like it but i think its fantastic fits my hand like a glove.
never really carried it out with me, but i broke me elbow last week so cant move my arm, and its became really handy(esp due to the one hand opening) brilliant for opening capri son straws and poking a wee hole for the straw lol.
Hi Dan,
Although I don't own one (nor have I held one) I do own a couple of other spyderco knives - they've been worth every penny.
The lads and lasses over on British Blades had some input on the design of the UKPK:
http://www.britishblades.com/forums/...ead.php?t=1996. It's a veeerrry looooonnng thread but *might* be of some use to you.
Is this sausage dead yet?
cheers for that dec. i'll check it out on my next day off!![]()

It's my EDC and I couldn't ask for a better knife to carry every day. easy opening, a firm back spring and secondary stop to ensure you don't close the blade on yourself accidentaly, plus the groove in the handle where your first finger sits also has the blades' choil there, so in effect you are locking the blade with your finger. Of course, you sould only be cutting with a slip joint knife, don't try stabbing the point into anything as it is sure to close up and make a mess of your flesh!
Day?? I take it you're a fast reader then![]()

I carry mine everyday and its a great UK legal Slippy.
Ok yeah they are expensive but if you search teh evil bay you will get one cheaper![]()
85 quid is a bit expensive though, mine was 81 USD, so about forty quid!
And they now come in orange and foliage green as well as the old black. Pop over to BB and have a chat with Charity, one of the dealers "over there".
I have both the black and the foliage green. The green is now permanent carry! Its a lot less tactical looking and doesn't raise any eyebrows. The one handed opening is often invaluable. Its comfortable to hold and as sharp as they come - and stays that way with minimul effort. Highly recommended - even if you had to pay full price, which you wont![]()
