These little black 'harvest' flies are annoying little b****rs aren't they! They're tiny but seem to have a specially ability to tickle the hell out of you! Swarms of them up here today... at least they don't bite...

we call them "thunder bugs" down here, they are infuriating!
my parents used to live in the "fens" (flat farming land near Ely), once the flies were particulaly bad, and aparently as a baby i was throwing up hundreds of them !
