    From a dippy Cannuck, but what exactly is a bushmoot?

    Hi Alex
    Moot is an olde english word for meet or gathering, essentially a bush moot is, a bushcraft gathering, just another way of putting it thats all.

    Thanks gents for the info. It sounds like a brilliant get together. Sadly I'm unaware of anything remotely like this here in my part of Canada...I know of so many places up north that you folks would go nuts for, if we held a bushmoot here.

    Somewhat unrelated, but those custodians of the trees in Middle Earth would hold an Ent Moot.
