    Default poncho question

I have a great poncho that I got from my wife's grandparents; I love it a lot as it's versatile, light and well waterproof; but.... If I'm doing anything other than huddling or walking then the lower 1/3 of my sleeves get wet. Does anyone have any bright solution, other than rolling up my sleeves?

Post a photo of the problem if you can so we can visualise the issue.

I don`t expect there`s much you can do because of the shape of the poncho and the way it`s worn. Perhaps put another waterproof layer on underneath, then again if your going to put a coat on you might aswell take the poncho off. You could still carry it and use it as a temp shelter when brewing up etc.

I've got a poncho, but I only use it as a tarp & sometimes to wrap up in at night outdoors. Don't think i've actually wore it yet.

I just roll up my sleeves to avoid this.

Sometimes I wear a DWR thin shell under the poncho which helps but I just always assume a poncho will result in wet forearms and lower legs.
