Little boxes of heat

Just got a little friend for my recently acquired, second hand Optimus 111 multifuel - a Russian Optmus 8r clone:



Pictured above putting out around 4.5 kW together (although you can't see the burner flames very well). I bought the 111 a couple of weeks ago from a member here on BCUK and just repainted the tin and polished up the brass a bit. It's my first Optimus and it works a treat. The 8r clone came from a German e-bay seller - it's not got the build quality of the Optimus, but it works just fine. Safe to say that having experienced the quality and ease of use of the Optimus, I'd definitely get another (hmm, Nova+ ......)
