Last summer i discovered juggling. I began by simple 3-ball cascade and then went onto advanced tricks and 4-ball.

Just a though as i am having difficulty with 5-ball and some other advanced tricks. I thought it might be a possibility that there maybe other jugglers here?! Has anyone else discovered it? If not, give it a go. It is very rewarding!

    Cheers,

    Jake

I have indeed discovered juggling but found that i have very poor hand-eye co-ordination. My other half on the other hand is very talented when it comes to juggling, he also does 2 person tricks which are great to watch. If you would like to know more, my other half is Ed.

    Cheers

    Thanks for the speedy reponse.

About your hand-eye coordination... Keep at it, it will vastly improve and *with practise* you will be amazed at what you can do.

if you want tips on the net try www.jugglingdb.com try it out. Im sure Ed will agree.

    Cheers,

I did 2 balls wil one hand for a bit, but it just isn't the same. I always like it when people start using fire clubs or balls

Hiya Jake :-) I've been juggling for about 12 years now ;-) I used to do it loads in my early 20's (far too many music festivals) and still play around a bit now.

I do balls, clubs, rings, knives (juggling ones... not 01 tool-steel razor-popping edges), fire, all sorts....

I can just about do a 5 ball cascade... and thats about it with 5 so I probably can't help you much.... I know loads of 3 ball tricks but just can't get my coordination around the 'box'... thats been bugging me for 12 years now

Are you comming to the bcuk meetup? I'll be there :-)

Hi Ed, I hope to make it to the meetup but my A level results come through around then so it may be difficult. I might come along and then just go back to pick them up as i live locally.

I know what you mean by getting frustrated with tricks.

I can do all the intermediate tricks and beginer a few advanced. I am trying to get my head round Rubensteins revenge at the moment, that one is killing me. I can do Mills Mess, windmill, flash behind back, neck catch, machine, yo-yo and oy-oy, and a few more.

The trick i cannot do no matter how hard i try however is meant to be the simplest after the cascade the "shower". I simply cannot do it!

I can do on cycle with 5-ball if i am lucky!

Be nice to learn from you if i make it to the meet-up.

    Cheers,

    Jake

ooo they are graded are they? I just pick up loads o tricks from people I meet. I'm the sort of person that will bug a street performer while they are trying to make money ;-)

Hope you can make it. It'll be good to trade info and tricks.

    :-)

Yeah, or at least it was on juggling data base. But i cant seem to get Jugglewiki up (it was a series of animations explaining tricks). Quite useful!

BTW i have found a club...the In no fit state circus! It is a group of performers that are willing to teach people. i am planning to go and see what it is like. If your interested i'll give you the email.

    Cheers,

    Jake

BTW i am getting behind the back juggling down to a tee.

Just another thought...Silicone Balls. Has anyone ever tried these? I know they are meant to be superb for bounce but what about for air juggling?

And i will be making it to the meet-up, results day is the 19th. I'll bring all my balls and my three clubs (when they arrive). I have also just bought a devil stick, so will bring that aswell!

    Cheers,

    Jake
