    hmm cheap indeed , I'm waiting till the army issue me a greenheat stove shouldnt be long now , another 5 years or so !

    Those greenheat stoves do look good - I'm hoping to get my sticky mitts on one very soon!! :-D

    Don't think he's a real fan of them if I remember aright...

    You do indeeed...

    On the other hand, the greenheat stoves I've been dissapointed with are the commercially available ones. If the Army ones are not the same then I have no knoweledge of those, and am willing to give them a try.

    They're not the same - they are designed to fit the crusader cup and have a small 40ml well for fuel - I currently use a similar set up with a us mug and stove set up which makes a good light weight kit for day hiking.

    When I finally get the new stoves I will let you all know - but they look promising.
