Just seen this story on the BBC website this morning after hearing it on the radio :

I can't even begin to imagne having to be herded off your lands and into settlements for `your own benefit`.. I hope the bushmen are successfull in their bid using the same process that evicted them off their land!

i believe a similar thing happened in the scottish highlands a couple of hundred years ago.

...and most of North and South America, Australia, Japan, and pretty much anywhere else the governing body (who those indigenous people may not even recognize as having authority over them) decides the indigenous population is on land that they want, for whatever reason. Herding people into reservations that destroy their traditional ways of life is common.
