    Post hello

I have always loved gardening, nature and the outdoors.
I have started trying out lots of various crafts using whats around me. Carving wood, making a bench, experimenting with clay and paper etc. Yesterday i made a semi successful bramble basket, it wasn't very good, but it held together and i have learnt what i did wrong.
I found this site whilst researching nettle fibres, my next project.
I hope to learn whilst on here and hopefully to be able to pass some useful information back.

Hello, and welcome to the forum

Interested to hear how you get on with the nettles; I have some retting down just now.

    Thank you for you welcome's.
Toddy, I have nettles retting too. Did not dry first, emptied twice, 12 hours apart and will now leave and keep my fingers crossed. How do you do yours?
