Chainsaw bars

Hi guys, i am just in the process of finishing a couple of blades for other people. as a new challenge, i have an old chainsaw bar knocking around (rather pinched the sproket on a large ash)i know that they are laminated but out of what steel and what sort of temperatures would be best for heat treating them?
Any suggestions?
