    Default Rucksack Advice

    Hi,
Firstly my appologies to anyone from the BB forum who has seen or contributed to this thread.
I want a climbing sack of approximately 40 litres. I have more or less narrowed my search down to either the Macpac Pursuit or the Karrimor Hot Ice.
The pack will be used predominantly in Summer with the (very) occasional Winter day trip.
I want durability and build quality above all else.
Whilst reviews on each exist I would really like first hand advice on which to choose.
As ever all help gratefully received.
    Tack

macpac out of those, but for personal choice Aguille Alpine - made in Cumbria by people who actually use them. They will also tailor make stuff as well.

    Check out Crux...

I've walked around fifteen hundred miles across very harsh terrain using an earlier version of the AK47 pack...

    Tough as old nails.

Oh and 37L weighs less than a kilogram...

I didn't know that they were based in Leeds, they are stocked by a few of the climbing shops up here in Scotland which was how I found them, there is a stockists link which can tell you about suppliers in your area though.
