    Default Bushcraft magazines

What's the difference between Bushcraft Mag. and Bushcraft & Survival Skills
Magazine? I'm from the USA and want to get a subscription to a good Bushcraft magazine. Are there more than these two? Which one do you recommend? thanks, ECKS

    Hello ecks,
I may be wrong but I dont think Bushcraft and Survival Skills is actually published yet so its not possible to compare the two. Bushcraft is published and in my view is a great mag. There are several links and reviews on this site. Hope this helps

I don't know the exact difference between the two. Do know the Bushcraft Mag. is published by Tony and BCUK related.
More information can be found here: http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community...ement.php?f=17

    There's also this one:

And if you click this link, you'll find another 2. But I do recommend you read the entire thread , so you can make a decission yourself.

I can't and will not recommend one single magazine. There are always some "good" and "bad" points on each of them.
I've got a subscription on the BCUK magazine and can tell you it's good - and I'm sure it'll be only better in the future. But having only this single subscription makes me subjective on this topic ...

If you have a look around, either here or on Briitish Blades you'll find posts from people who are subscribed to 2 or more mags. Contact them to find out what mag suits your needs best.

Did I said the BCUK mag is good?

'Bushcraft' is produced by BushcraftUK which you will find at http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community...ad.php?t=11358

Bushcraft & Survival Skills is a different magazine for more see www.bushcraftmagazine.co.uk This is out and available online.

There is another called The Bushcraft Magazine, for more see www.bushcraft-magazine.co.uk , this is not out yet but will be in the next couple of weeks.

Don't think it's fair to bring up old disputes which may or may not have been a misunderstanding, especially as it wont affect your magazine subscription.

I haven't seen the ones mentioned above yet, but I just found this gem in a local bookstore called "The Backwoodsman" out of Colorado US.

Apparently it's been published for about 26 years, and has some great stories and articles!
