    Default Boreal shirt

Hi guys, have been looking and drooling over the boreal shirt (google it if you have not seen this). Now my good lady is a dab hand with a needle and sewing machine. Can anyone suggest where I can get a pattern so she can attempt to make me something similar.

    thanks

Lovely shirts - but "Ouch!" $250 is a bit steep. If you can find a pattern and get Mrs Jazz to knock them out a reasonable price, you could become a very popular man!

I made one over the winter . Use an old fleece as the pattern and copied a hood pattern from a windproof smock .

Yeah I made one of these a few years back, almost identical to that, just made out of a 7 blanket I bought online. Really very simple to make!!

In one of the Bushcraft and Survival Skills magazines a little while back (in no way affiliated) there was an article on how to make one and they had some pretty decent photos and patterns. You should probably be able to find some online too..

These look great, do you still have the pattern you used?

Do you have a Hoodie or hooded jacket that you like. She should be able to measure that and allow for the stitching.
