You'll just have to change the date then.

Or, why not have a bushcrafty reception? The veil on the bride's dress will make good midge protection, and the rest of the crowd can provide mead, Sloe Gin, grub (possibly literally), and a fruity three teir bannock with a whittled bride and groom on top!

Yeah Mr Kochanski is attending - I could have got my book signed.

Nevermind - I`m organising the honeymoon so there might be an element of bushcraft left in my plans yet. I wonder if she`ll be up for some arctic adventures in Lapland, or tracking rhino in Africa. She is warming to the idea of grizzly country in a log cabin though.

The last time we tried anything involving sleeping outdoors together she brought here slippers and a hair dryer.
Say no more.

Congratulations, I hope you'll both be very happy......pity the anniversary is probably going to collide with future bushmoots too though
I've a friend in the same sort of situation, but he checked his diary before he agreed to a date. He is a re-enactor and *his* fiance wanted to get married the same day that the re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings is on
"But if you loved me......" fell on deaf ears After all it's the 950th anniversary of the battle and *no* marriage lasts that long

To be honest you owe a lot more to her than meeting up with us. She's your friend for life, there's nothing more valuable that that.

not only does it clash with our wedding anniversary, its worse than that....
I actually chose that date for the bushmoot and booked the site years in advance!

Cindy will never let me of the hook for not only arranging something else on our anniversary date but arranging for it to happen on that date every year for the foreseeable future
