    Welcome to the Jan 2011 newsletter from bushcraft uk

    Hi Everyone!

    Happy New Year from bushcraft uk, we hope that this year will be all you want it to be and that you’ll be able to get out into the wilds, practice skills, get to meet ups, learn loads, have fun and enjoy life.
    Thanks to you all for a great 2010, it was great meeting some of you and talking to others and I know that there we’re many friendships made and adventures had due to bushcraft uk. May 2011 be just as good and hopefully better with more friends and more adventures.

    bushcraftuk.com upgrades:

    We’ll be doing some upgrades on bushcraftuk.com in a couple of weeks so the site might be down for a short period of time so don’t worry if you can’t get into the site, it will only be for a short while and we’ll notify you of what’s happening closer to the time.
    Courses and Expeditions:

    We’ve still got some places left on our bcuk member Wild Foods course and our Arctic expedition, the cut off date for places is the 15th of January so hurry if you want a great value course and expedition to an amazing place.

    We also have a bcuk Foundation Skills Course coming up that covers many of the key outdoor skills beneficial to bushcraft, camping and outdoor life.

    If you’ve not been on bushcraft uk for a while pop in and have a chat, we’d love to hear what you’ve been up to. If you’ve got something you would like to submit as an article or review let us know through the site or email info@bushcraftuk.com.

    Some of you have been asking about the existing articles from the old site, we’ve been gradually moving articles and reviews over from the old site and we’ve still got loads to come over so this year will see us getting back into content mode for articles and reviews on a regular basis, contributors welcome :-) You can post them on the forums and we move them across which is easy to do or you can email us.
