You can force season in the microwave. Ley landii works as a hearth with a cherry or hazel spindle. If that increases your options?

I've got some seasoned sycamore, only about 3 halved logs, 12 inches long, 3 inches wide.

Matt,
You can pick over my logpile if you want? Think theres some lime in there. Theres certainly about a single garage chock full of cut split and seasoned logs of all types

Failing all that, I have some.
need it for friday if possible could do with 4 foot long rounds (assuming its about arm thickness) so i can split it and carve the drill out of the other halves.
stuck with public transport Red or I'd take you up on your offer

Quick update managed to find some seasoned ivy on a tree and just managed to get an embers with it using some dowel, cheating I know but I want the scouts to have at least some success. Thanks for all the offers
Cheers
