I need some Amadou tinder fungus for a fire demo i am doing next month but have not been able to find any in my local wood. If anyone has any spare i could have let me know what you would like for it.

that looks good two or three handfuls would be good so i can process it and one whole/semi whole one to show what it looks like unprocessed as it would be on the tree.
In the New Forest I've seen these grow to a massive size, easily covers a dinner plate.
If its the same stuff I've always known it as horseshoe fungus.
yes that is another name for it :)
