I know... terrible behaviour upon my part... but as I said in the other thread I'm waiting upon some funds to arrive shortly before I do make said purchase of ticket
Ho who's looking at coming this year and still needs tickets?
I'm to purchase yet... planning on arriving on the 30th and departing on the 11th

Yeah I know the feeling with funds at the moment, only ribbing you about the ticket, more interested at the moment in intended numbers.

Im coming and still need to get tickets. Just waiting until next months pay. :)
I'm planning on coming, I can even stay the entire time, and beyond (potentially), just need to get around to booking my ferry ticket etc. Can't decide whether to dock at Portsmouth and head North West or come over to Kent at Dover and travel cross country... decisions decisons. (I'm travelling from Normandy France but have family in Kent.)
Having some real life issues right now that I hope will be history by this time next month. Which is delaying me booking the tickets etc just in case the excrement hits the fast moving twirly thing

I haven't booked mine yet - was waiting to see if I could persuade the family to join me, but they seem to think going somewhere hot and sandy is a better plan, so I'm coming on my own (looks like it's the naughty corner for me then!).
as far as the UK goes it is hot and sandy :-) Some of the largest sand dunes in Europe and it's south wales, sunny compared to the north :D

I still need tickets too, two to be precise as I am bringing some one along for the ride, and for me also the money was the issue but that has been resolved, also need to apply for a full membership still so will try and finish all that this week.
Yours sincerely Ruud
Who is very ashamed about not having it all arranged properly:sad6:
Hopefully coming this year hoping to scrape together funds
I will be coming, but as above waiting for funds for my ticket, will purchase it mid June if all goes well, Dave53, best of luck with the hip, would say break a leg, but not really appropriate :)

You talking about the tickets Drew? Or Christine?
We're not going to make it this year.
We've got a very old dog that's not fit enough for kennels really and we can't bring her on site so end of story I'm afraid.

I hope to be there, just got to sort out how much time I can spend living the life and whether there are clashes with other things like work and whatever social commitments that may have been arranged for me without my knowledge.

Me, Tricia and twins are headin down for the first week, Monday to Monday. Looking forward to it with much looking forwardness. Issuing twin alert up front. You have been warned, they will double team you.
I plan to be there for the First Aid Coiurse if it goes ahead but (maybe) only that, so won't buy until that is definitely going ahead

I would like to reserve one adult and two junior tickets for the Core Days, but due to a triple-dip recession in the Whoop household will not be able to pay until the time - will this be OK? I've tried emailing shop@ and info@ but haven't had a response - maybe the email filters don't like the look of me!
Hey, i've just checked the accounts and can't find the emails, can you send them again? shop@bushcraftuk.com and Shelly will help you out with it.

You will be much missed!
I am looking forward to this years Moot. Should be a great antidote for the pressures of the recession.

I have decided to run the first aid course whatever the numbers.
I hope some people want to attend as it gets boring trying talk to yourself for 2 days.

Are we going to get physical tickets this year or a number like last year?
For the Moot proper? Numbers, you should have been sent it, I think you were one of the first :D

Just brought my ticket for the core days, only 29 days to go.
Bought my ticket for the most of July and the entire month of August. Just waiting on the email and this mysterious number peple are whoping about.
Getting excited now that it's all booked. I even had a word with him upsatirs to send some decent weather. Handy having connections (I know a Nun... but not in the Biblical sense :nono:)

Folks, have you actually received tickets in the post? I paid but haven't any tickets as yet
Windy
There are no physical tickets, you should have recieved a ticket number via email. If you are yet to recieve yours, email shelly shop@bushcraftuk.com

Its a shame ~I would of loved to come - due to joining the forum when I did and spotting the moot, didn't give us enough time for my partner to book some time off work - he would of loved to go also! That and I think we would of struggled to find a dog sitter for our rather large dogs! Maybe next year! :) Looking forward to hearing how it went - Enjoy yourselves.
That reminds me, i have to buy 2 tickets but I'm still waiting on a student to give me his money.

Many of us are self-employed. With work a bit quiet at the moment every job has to be siezed with both hands. So booking for the moot in advance is not an easy option - if I book now and then get asked to work that week (work I can't afford to refuse) it's a double whammy, I lose money either way.
I, and I know there are others, would like to just pay at the gate. Is this not possible?
Paul
There are normally a few tickets at the gate for those that can't pay in advance. Contact shelly shop@bushcraftuk.com and see if you can arrange something.

You can. Just show up at the site and check in at the reception stall across the classroom / toilet- / showerblock. Can't miss it :D
<snip> a student to give me his money.
:lmao::rofl::goodluck:
Tell me about it Johan ... getting beer money off a student to come to the moot is a nightmare!
