Not UK, but they provide as good if not better a service than anyone here.
.Toolshop (https://www.toolshop.de/e/shop/shop.jsp)
I have used them a few times and there is a recent thread by someone else who was delighted with them. They answer emails quickly, in perfect English and delivery is fast. They are also honset about their stocks and delivery times.
Usual disclaimer - I am nothing to do with them and just a happy customer.

You've also got Joe at Extreme Outdoor Gear (http://www.extremeoutdoorgear.co.uk) who's prices tend to be very competative indeed

Good choice, I've got the exact same set up and you can just keep on piling stuff into them :D

Did you need a belt to hang it all off ?
Or do they come with one ?
Cheers

The Proteus has a built in belt which the M4 will slide over. You also have the option of sliding a stiffer duty belt through the Proteus which I know some people have done, but I've had no problems with the standard belt once it's adjusted right

Closest thing I've seen to civvy webbing is the stuff made by Civilian Labs Ltd (www.civilianlab.com) you can get it in the UK from Woodland Organics (http://www.woodlandorganics.com/civilianlabs/products.asp). Not seen it myself but it looks as though it would be gadget fans idea of heaven!

It does look interesting, but as it's designed for covert use, a suspicious lump under the armpit of a jacket could well generate some unwelcome attention from the boys in blue, especially in these bad times. I'm not sayimg it's illegal or anything like that, but just repeating what I've heard from serving bobbies

This is true but I would suspect that its adjustable enough to wear over clothing. I certainly wouldn't wear anything like it around town in the UK though!

I don't think I'd use it as everytime you needed something you have to open your smock and loose all your body heat!
