Found this and thought of you.

Top are those little green plastic waterproof containers ideal for survival kits etc at £2, lower down are mIllbank bags with iodine for £16, then Frost Moras for £8. Sounds good to me...

...And if you look on the military clothing page - they're selling "green protective leather jerkins" for £5.00 if anyone wants a cheap supply of thin leather ;)

Jasper was at the wilderness gathering this year and came across as a really nice bloke. Seems to have some pretty good quality surplus and brand new kit for sale.

I concur, I ordered the green boxes as used by Mears for his sharpening stone, and it was a fast delivery to a BFPO address.

I have my FAK and Survival Kit for my webbing each in one, and I use one for my tinder box with Jasons' firesteel, a piece of flint, charcloth, a piece of birch bark and some Fomes tinder fungus. There is plenty of space left so I may put some inner tube in aswell, or I could just stretch it around the outside!

I put arubber O-ring into the lid to keep water out.

Sanp - I use those little green (decontamination boxes) as my tinder box aswell. They are really handy and pretty water tight too. I'd like to get a rubber seal for the top tho - that would spot on.

Cheers
