The poll is closed, and the results are in.
The decision is as follows.
shaft design 1 with blade design 3
AND
we will also make shaft design 1 with martyns blade design too. both of which will be tested to buggery of the guvnor himself!
I still need a firesteel to use when attempting the sheath prototype,Seeing as nobody came to me with colours suggestions here are the options.
Natural curly colour
Dark brown and red
Black and orange.
Larry is on the verge of making some sketches as to how the knives will look, he'll post them here when they are done.
I'll be looking at seeing how many are in soon.... watch this space!
I forgot to mention that there has not been a grind decided. Some have asked for a convex grind, and others for a flat grind.
what is it to be.

So, another woodlore clone then? the only difference as far as i can see, is the fact that it is a stick tang, other than that, looks just like the woodlore
I am with Martyn on this one, and i really like the blade design he made to
Good luck whith the knives fellas!

Well you know what they say............
If it iain't broke, don't fix it :-) The woodlore design works very well for bushcrafters :biggthump

Remember guys it hasn't been decided yet! Dave is getting the TWO blades made up for Tony to test, though not sure if both will be available to buy or just the 'better' of the two (my reckoning is they are both gonna be great 8-) ). Maybe Tony or Dave could let us know?
You can't really expect originality when it's a case of "design by popularity" ...
