BushMoot dedicated pages can be found here BushMoot Information and Tickets (http://www.bushcraftmedia.com/)
Right then, here's the details that you're going to be needing.
Here's the link for purchasing tickets for the moot :D Get your Moot tickets here :D (http://www.bushcraftmedia.com/2012/04/11/tickets/)
For your diaries:
Monday 30th July - 2pm (ish) open the site to Full members only
Tuesday 31st July - 2pm (ish) open the site to members
up to and including the 3rd Aug = camping days on site (No activities planned or run by us, it will be a camp site for people to use)
4th - 6th Aug - Sat, Sun, Mon = Workshop days (The same format we always have at the Moot)
7th Aug - trader day + Hangi and bring a meal (7pm) (Response to the Dutch Oven bring a meal was brilliant so we're expanding it to a bigger much and mingle type event :D)
8th - 10th camping days on site (No activities planned or run by us, it will be a camp site for people to use)
Sat 11th All leave for home by 1pm
Of course it will not be compulsory for people to be there for the whole event but there's been a lot of interest in being on the site longer. It will give you the opportunity to get out and explore the local area or just relax in the beautiful site that we use.
Come and join us at the Summer 2012 BushMoot (extended)
Following on from the success of last years Moot and the demand for an even longer event we have increased to 11 days (13 for Full members) We'll still have the workshops, traders day and communal meal but on top of that we've added loads of extra days for camping, relaxing and taking advantage of the great private site we use in South Wales.
The Bushcraft UK Bushmoot for bushcraft uk members was conceived to provide an organised individual and family event where people with an interest in bushcraft could gather with like minded individuals and expand their knowledge through mutual skill sharing. The event is based on a coastal estate Nr Bridgend, South Wales.
It doesn’t matter whether you are new to the world of bushcraft or an old hand, everyone is welcome and all we ask is that you come and enjoy yourself. Everyone is free to share what they know and we promise you will leave with new found knowledge and new friends.
More information (FAQ) can be found here (http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67733&p=1062942#post1062942) and payment options can be found right here (http://www.bushcraftmedia.com/2012/04/11/tickets/)

Here's some feedback from people that have attended:
Thank you for all your hard work & organisation to make it a great Moot. It was my first time there & I had such a great time. I did not stop leaning stuff from when I got out of the car on the Thursday to when I finished the flint knapping course on the Wednesday, got in the packed car & drove home. It was nice to meet so many members and to put names to faces, which is what it is all about at the end of the day. The courses were great and I like the 1/2 day approach, with the odd full day, which is a nice change from the 1 hour course at the Wilderness Gathering. Thanks to everyone involved in putting the Moot on and hope to see you all next year.
It was a great moot, many thanks to Tony and the mods and all who gave workshops. So much to learn.... maybe it should be longer!?
that I couldn't do every single workshop or demo!
Everyone made me feel really welcome - especially Mad Dave, Cap'n Badger, Troy, John & Sargey for impromptu workshops & hacking down stuff.
Tony - the event was really well organised - loads to do and see and with so many different choices, it's assured that I'll be coming back next year to finish off what I started
Everyone on the team worked so hard keeping everyone happy - whilst the water wasn't always hot, I never found a loo without a toilet roll and there was always someone about for a chat or to point us in the right direction.
Ah so many faces to the names in the forums - feel free to keep in touch!
I'm also uploading the pictures to flickr as I type.
Shame I didn't get a picture of the life raft in the mammock but I shall definitely be booking the full week off next year and take it all at a bit more of a relaxed pace
You can view the photos here
oh and
THANK YOU everyone. It probably hasn't been said enough, though I'm a bit bitter I didn't win the Axe = )

Ohhh cool I had a bad case of bushmoot blues and was so wanting to be back already. They say you should never wish your life away so my wish is for bushmoot to happen 10 or 20 times a year but seeing as thats not going to happen.
I will happily look forward to nexts years and you can count me and V-ness in for the whole lot.
I promise not to wear my tight speedos for the Bushmoot Olympics.:p

No full member workshops this time then?
Nah.... nothing bad like that. Just bloody hard to get to for someone who doesnt drive.
My friend Ben did it from my house last year - it's about 3hrs journey which is substantially quicker than by car and had he driven on his own, would have cost similar prices if you include petrol, insurance and car maintenance!
You can always get a pickup from the station, plenty of nice people going who'll give you a lift.
Thanks for the advanced dates Tony, will get them over to the wife - just me and her in my car this year!
2 weeks... 2 weeks... AWESOME.
Awesome! Think its time I lose my moot-ginity especially as I'll be 18 by then!
Look forward to meeting you all there
I've told SWMBO to tell her aunt from the US that she isn't coming to visit us the first week in August next year like she always does.
Book me in for the flint knapping workshop. There is going to be a flint knapping workshop, isn't there?

Tony, sorry its taken sooo long to get around to it, but thanks for making Harrys 16th birthday so memorable for him (not a date to forget easily >:op ) at the Moot this year.

I'm gonna be there and not have to leave part way through.
It's going to be a great time, I'm really looking forward to it. We will probably be cutting the length of it down by one day at the end so it will finish on Sat 11th rather than Sunday the 12th. Other that that all's good. I've just shot an email off to the site managers to double check everything and when I hear back we'll get moving on tickets, more info etc, although most of you know the score with the moots so things will run smoothly.
Remember that we're going to have some bushcraft Olympics themed activities so we're going to have a lot of fun.
Anyone that wants to run a workshop let me know so that we can schedule things.
I'll be there if I possibly can, for as long as I possibly can... It's the Bushmoot!

hi all, never been before, where is it held, cost etc please.
It takes place at a woodland campsite near Bridgend, Wales
As for costs this years prices haven't been announced yet as far as I know
Other info you can find by browsing the Bushmoot section of the forum (http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=71)
Oh... and welcome to the forum :)
Yeah, got that thanks Eric and those that have said they'll do some workshops.
I'm nearly there on the Moot side of things, I should have the details up by end of next week.
We're working on prices for the FM's (on site a day earlier and leave site a day later) for the whole period, regular attendees for the whole of it other than those two days, workshop days only price and a thursday to thursday price, so a fair amount of option.
I'm working on an adult pricing for FM's for the whole thing 30th July to the 11th Aug of £155 and others attending that are not FM's 31st July to the 10th Aug of £135 for the period and we'll work down from that so obviously it will be cheaper for the thursday to thursday etc etc
Youth 12-15 years - a bit less than half that and children 5-11 years half the youth price, 4 and under's are free.
Remember this is a rough guide so use it as such, I'll put the prices in concrete very soon.
We'll also be running some workshops pre and post workshop days so some time between the 30th and the 3rd Aug and the 8th and 11th Aug, more news on that soon.

After failing to come for a few years this year is the one. In fact I have already booked time off work ready for it. My plan would be to pop down after work on Friday 3rd and stay through until the end of Tuesday. I believe a friend or two of mine, who are not members of this forum but avid bushcrafters are also interesting in coming (Perhaps they'll be convinced to join up afterwards :))

My eldest was 9 when we went last year. Basically he hooked up with a squad of new mates almost immediately and we only saw him at meal times and bedtime. He can't wait to get back.

Shorter event for non FM's 31st July - 10th Aug Adults £135, Youth £65 and Children £20

Erm - I used to make harnesses that stop sheep giving birth too early .....
As to the birthing pool/jacuzzi - easy peasy!
A wall of logs with a large tarp draped to form a liner ... then let the rain fill it!

May we rock up on the day to buy tickets or are they only available in advance? I wasted mine last year.
Soz, missed the earlier post.
If there's spaces you can rock up and pay when you get there, it might be an idea to email shelly shop@bushcraftuk.com before the event, when it's full it's full though, we limit the numbers quite a bit to keep the nature of the event the same so it's first come first served.
I've just put this in the original post and thought it could do with being here as well
