Nathan is 20 on 20th October, and to celebrate, we thought about a wee get together, say 21st, 22nd and 23rd October. Wee were thinking of Glen Trool? Unless anyone has any better locations nearby. Please post if you'd be interested in coming along for the weekend.

Well if Stuart and Nathan are bringing their dogs, i take it, its ok for me to bring Jason, and another disclaimer that i'll not be responsible for any missing drink LOL.....
Don't worry about it Stu, we'll have our two with us, one the hungriest thing i've ever met (has stolen biscuits from Jason and even rolls from Col, after opening the plastic bag they tied up in without tearing it :yikes: ) One is so timid she's unreal, the other is fine as long as dog's leave him alone, then he gets a bit iffy but he's well controllable, one word from his uncle Tam and he does what he wants haha

Just found out today that I've been selected to be one of the testers for the new range of vango air beam tents so I'm going to have a nice big silly inflatable 4 man tent to roll about it full of the jackermeister (messy).
Is anyone bringing a guard-rail for the fire cos we don't want any mishaps, I think Jason had some kind of inner ear infection at wiston and somehow lost his balance.

A think it's slightly different it's the 2012 model with improvements can't remember the name of it but if begins with an f its like flan or similar. Long story, they posted up on Facebook that they were looking for testers when they released the first ones back in April so I emailed them and was unsuccessful but they emailed me about a month ago saying they were getting new ones in and were looking for more testers and would I be interested. I said yes and the guy from amg group phoned me today and asked if I had any trips within the next month and I said glentrool so he said the smallest they have is a 4 berth and I basically jumped at the chance :lmao:
Don't think I get to keep it though but I'll do them a right professional looking review and take loads of pics but it should be good :)

While keeking over Staurt's shoulder at the map the other night it dawned on me that we're just down the hill from where Tam mentioned the local whetstones used to come from. If anyone fancies a wander on saturday I'll likely be going up for a look see.
