I just started making knives a little over a year ago and I divide my time between stock reduction and forging. Here is a little shot of my latest forging project.

A knife made from a file 4 1/2 " blade.

Looks functional!, well done. But my dad made one out of a file once when I was a little diddy boy and we use to throw it sometimes and yes you know what it went and snapped being brittle tool steel. Did you heat treat your one?
