Would just like to bring to your're attention, WIMSA - the Working Group of Indigenous Minorities in Southern Africa.

It's been almost 10 years since I first got involved with WIMSA, working on the ground with development programmes with the San in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia, please have a browse through at http://wimsanet.org/

Some of my experiences on the projects are here..

An inspirational group of people in an amazing land.

Enjoy :)

Great pics. :)

I spent four weeks in Namibia, most of which was with a small extended family of San. It was pretty clear from the stories they told that they were getting a rough deal for most things in life. Good to know someone is fighting in their corner.

Thank you for posting the links :D
A very interesting read, and wander through the photos  and like Sandbender I too am pleased that someone is helping them get a level playing field in this modern world.

cheers,

Thanks guys,

Another organisation I came across whilst working in Southern Africa was NACOBTA - Namibia Community Based Tourism Association, a very valuable resource for anyone wanting to interact with the San or get involved with projects, here's a link
