Firewood....

I take it its Ok to fill the boot of the car with wood... and that raised self contained fires are Ok in sutable areas.

Wasn't sure if wood was available, so I'll be stocking up over the weekend!

If anyone has a splitting maul/axe and fancies some oak/ash in return for helping to split some down, they would be very welcome!

I will be bringing slightly more than we need, so have a little spare.

There's supposed to be wood but their idea of good wood isn't the same as mine so I'd say taking some is a great idea, it allows you to be independent and not have the hassle of scavenging for wood.

We'll also take down some standing dead wood and get some off the estate as needed.

I have the use of a quad, about 15 ton's of fallen seasoned oak, but sadly... a 106 to bring it in! (including kit)
