I've been looking at the Lapp Puukko's on the web and Jules (swmbo) has decided she wants one (she likes the decorative sheath too). Does anyone know the cheapest place to get em, as i'm a bit strapped after Xmas :-(

Dave.

You need to talk to Stuart aka Kellam Knives! Or to Jack aka Woodland Organics.

I believe Stuart is the distributor in the UK and retails them as well and Woodland Organics stocks also stocks them:

www.KellamKnives.co.uk

www.woodlandorganics.com

ok, sargey heading for a shoeing later...

prolly the cheapest source to buy a finnish knife is from the states  specially at the current exchange rate. ragnar is a great bloke to deal with http://www.ragweedforge.com/FinnishKnifeCatalog.html and he sends stuff by post. (cheap) the shipping on my IJ puukko was about a fiver. of course if you get stung by customs it could cost a little more over all.

cheers, and.

Other low-cost U.S. sources for puukko:

MemoriesofFinland.com (Iisakki 5218 for $35.00)
KnifeCenter.com (Helle knives)

Good hunting.
