Anyone recognise what this little chap is?
I think it's some kind of warbler - but can't really find a positive identification. Maybe a juvenile in Spring plummage?

Cheers

P.s. Sorry it's just a link - whenever I try to post pictures from flickr all I get is the dreaded little red cross.

As an aside.

It gets the name from old norse, wheeter erse or similar.
Basically white **** 'cos of the white rump.

Nice fact. Can't wait for an opportunity to use that one. Might challenge my mate Barry the bird on that one!

Looks like a marsh warbler to me.

Except I wasn't in a marsh. In fact I couldn't have been any further away from a marsh/swamp/damp area if I tried.
I was in exactly the correct habitat for a wheateater, however.
