Medicine Spoon

Have really got the bug for spoons, made this one over the weekend. From Birch- roughed it out with an axe to speed things up a bit. Find it a bit hard to make the tranistion for wood to steel. I would normally make a spoon flat then put the s-curve in last. Can't do that with wood. Still, just about go there; used a different carver this time. One I made a few years ago, it has a large welding flaw, but rather than scrap it I decided to see what affect it has- none so far.

Top work, the lines are really nice. Those tool handles are great too.
