well that sounds horrific
what exactly is a wooden pylon?
I always thought you were safe from electricity inside a vehicle because it acted as a faraday's cage ?
Did he get out or was it an open top?
How unlucky ,you just never know the minute.

well, if the only parts of the car touching the ground are the rubber tyres you should be fine, but when half your car is in a muddy hole it doesnt work the same.
I've seen the results of a plough going through underground cables - that cooked most of the controls on the tractor and we always guessed our lad driving was lucky. Suppose this shows how lucky!

must have had his hands on non metal controls, his feet on a rubber mat and sitting on a non metallic seat then, otherwise very lucky.
im surprised you could have underground cables in a field...

Just read a report from the fatal accident inquiry, the vehicle caught on fire & the victim was trying to evacuate from it. There's also a suggestion that the speed of the lead vehicle contributed to the tragedy
