can't see a picture on my phone. Is it brass?
Great find, I don't know anything about them but it's a nice old reel and probably worth getting a value on.

hi one of the magazines FLYFISHING & FLY TYING have a very knowledgeable writer CHRIS SANDFORD who will identify and give you some idea of history and value of your reel.
you can start your enquiry on their web site www. flyfishing and fly tying .co.uk they have a forum and methods of contacting their staff for advice. good luck i would be interested in the result regards corby
uthanks for that, i'll check it out later.
