After not being aloowed out for the weekend by SWMBO I have been granted permission to disappear this weekend, and try out my new tent!! Was wondering if any of the usual suspects fancy a wee meet at the Loch Doon castle or somewhere near there, checked the weather and it's supposed to be good.
I'm thinking Friday - Sunday if anyone's free :D

Not sure yet mate, have to see how the knee is on Friday and what the weather will be, i wont be able to kneel in the bottom of the noe, so it will be a case of sitting only, which dont work so well in the wind...
Don't want to be an unfeeling basket, (ya nah i liuvs ya really) but if you're not bringing the canoe, any chance of you bringing the dry suit so Nath can have a go?

Was thinking of buying some cheap gear bud just to see if I can get into it, seems a better way to spend a camping Saturday than sitting hungover doing hee haw :lol:

When is everyone expecting to arrive as I'm debating leaving straight from work which would get me down there for about 2pm or 3-4 if I leave from home, but don't wanna be there alone for hours :lol:

I've not been out in about a year thanks to pressures of work and ill health so I've got withdrawal symptoms bad. I've sent a message to T1 Viper as I promised him a lift to the last one ( he ain't got transport and I have to pass him on the way) but unhappily had to let him down as I coul'nt make it so hopefully he will be up for this one, just waiting for a reply.
keep me a space away from the snorers Scotty ,,,, infact awe the snorers stick the gether ,, love thy brothers and give us a sleep ...

I was after one on the ebay and didn't get my update bid in by 2 secs. Went for £83, used three times and came with a new footprint too

There will probably be lots after the summer and T in the Park etc that will be dirt cheap but it's a bit of a wait

This was my first time out in ages and once again loved every minute of it and did'nt want to leave. The weather was excellent and could'nt have wished for better and the company well..................what can I say these meets just get better and better. It was great to meet some new faces ( and put the wind up a couple) and just brilliant to meet up with some old friends. Just a great weekend lads thanks for the company, the laughs, and the good time, maybe we should take a bottle or two next time.......might just add that little something do you think? Anyway here are a few piccies of the site at loch Doon, including Hagaar the snoozer.

As for the sun ma "solar panel" is as red as a lobster and I felt it when I got home on Sunday especially at bedtime after a good long soak in the bath. Ma heids still nippin............mind you that could be doon tae er indoors just as like. :aargh4:

Haha brilliant weekend, thanks again to all the usual suspects for making it such a great weekend.
Big thanks to John for everything from wood to completeing our calvary when we went the quest to invade the weedgie camp!
