hi all,
my names james and im from glasgow ( via ireland lol) and came across this site recently. ive been interested in the outdoors most of my life ( im 27) mainly through my dad who is an enthusastic shooter and outdoors man. through him and his friends, one of whom was an ex marines survival instructor, i learnt what would become along with wildlife photography my real passion.
i love to get outside all the time and like nothing better than going away into the woods on my own for days and nights.
if there is anyone from my area, id love to hear from you to find out where you go and possibly even meet up.

Welcome. I am in your area and also very interested in wildlife photograpghy (this years Scottish Nature Photograpghers Fair has just been announced and is well worth visiting. It is the 3rd and 4 th September and sells out quickly, I do not have the link to hand but if you are interested let me know and I will dig it out.)

Keep an eye on the Scottish Meet up thread as there should be another one soon.

Meeting up should not be a problem just depends how formal you want to make it and when.
