Can anyone go to these meet ups or is it via invite ect,being a relative novice i figure i could learn alot and that it would be real fun.

The BCUK meetups are open, you just pay the camping fee, I think for the Ashdown one you need an invite from Paganwolf who you can contact via PMs here. The Wilderness Gathering in September is a bit more costly but sixty odd quid for the weekend is a great deal for what you get (or do I mean it's not a great deal.. it's a bargain!)
Us novices can learn a lot from just being around and watching how people set things up :) never mind from more formal teaching.

:) Top stuff,i would like to make an earlier meet but i reckon it will be the september one for me as ive not got the time this month and shall be in Norway August.What kit is recomended that i bring,is there a kit list as such,tent,basher ect.
