Upload avatar Photo

Hi folks,
Been trying to upload an avatar photo from my laptop(compressed file)but not having much luck.Anyone point me in the right direction?:confused:

what do you mean by compressed file??
needs to be in correct format( .jpg, bmp, gif... etc not actually sure what the requirements are.) and under i think 4 megs.

I think the format was fine(jpg),i did nt realise about the number of posts thing though.
I believe a compressed file is a bigger photo which has been made in to smaller file?something like that....
