Hi all,

I'm debating whether or not to go and get the Pair of Lowas I want, or order them online. Thing is I'm no sure exactly what size I'll be, I'm a 10 M in the standard British Army assault bots, with a tiny bit of wriggle room. Does anyone know if I'd be the same in the Lowas. We're only talking about a £20 difference between buying them and collecting them but that's enough to make me think about it!

Cheers,

Will

I've just bought a pair of combat GTX's, but i can be anything from a 9 to a 10.5 from trainers to boots. So i went and tried a pair on, i ended up paying 40£ more than i could of got them online, but i wasn't confident enough in the returns policy to send them back if they didn't fit.

Plus i'd never worn Lowa's before so wasn't sure on the sizing. I ended up going for a size 9 and they are a little tight on the "width" but just right length wise, so i need to get some miles into them to "loosen" them out lol

My advice.... Either go and try a pair on and pay the extra £20, you'll soon forget about that, or try them on and be sure in your mind what size you need, then order them online.

Fantastic Boot, but i would recomend trying them on first.

They are soooo confortable, that its easy to get the wrong size - you dont check for heel lift etc.

I use mine to walk the dog and for short day bimbles etc, but i wouldnt wear them up a mountain or to do anything hardcore; because although they are the right size, they arnt quite the right shape.

Ironically, they are the most comfortable boots ive ever worn
