I tried to send a private message but I can't work out if it sent or not.
Also it was image heavy, but I couldn't see a preview button to check if the images had loaded up.

I don't think you can send a PM until you have a post count above 10.
You do have a 'sent' PM box to check on what you've sent

Check out your PM 'Sent' box, that will show you the exact message sent.
if you didn't get an error notice saying you didn't have permissions it should be fine.

No it didn't send.
Did the persons name pop up in a yellow box when you wrote it in ? If you didn't click on it the it probably won't have been sent, I would have thought you'd have got a message though.
How did you attach the pictures ?
NO messages at all when you clicked on submit message ?
