Got a Berghaus Spectrum Microfleece, very good indeed, recommend it, not as warm as regular spectrum, but good for energetic bushcrafty stuff.

Any other recommendations for midlayers would be good

Cheers!!

Decathlon do a micro fleece top for £6 if I remember right. My mate had one recently and was very pleased with himself. If you are going to be around the fire a lot you might not want synthetic. You can get surplus swedish army wool jackets which are very like ulfrotte (sp?) but about £10. Good old british army Norgie tops are very warm, cheap and durable.
