Hello.
I have begun at my house a garden with the idea to grew wild plants.
The idea is to check how plants and herbs looks during the year and at different states of growing so you take knowledge to more easy identifications of this plants in the wild field.
Enjoy

Fantastic idea! Myself and my other half are in the process of buying our first house and one of the major buying points is a garden. I want to plant it with only native U.K. species and herbs that will give me a bit of a yearly bounty. Anyone got a garden like this....and if so, how does it work out? Do you need to consider pollination, biannuals etc. What works well?!?

You lot are making me jealous - not having a garden big enough to swing Mel in

I would suggest that you get hold of some seeds from some Fat Hen, this might take over a bit - but is extrememly tasty

Excellent idea, just make sure you label your specimens.

Great idea - but make sure you know the origin of the seed. Would be great if you could collect and propagate. Long project but well worthwhile.
