i was going to buy a sabre 45 but i was in tiso in dundee today and saw a lowe alpine mountain attack 50 for £40 so i bought it

all i can say is that it is very comfortable, has most of the features i wanted (i would have liked detachable side pockets) and is in a nice subdued colour (dark grey so it's unobtrusive without being overtly military)

no i'm in fife, that's in scotland. and it was on sale in tiso. i think it was last years stock that they were clearing out as i can't find it on the current lowe alpine website.
